Messengers

Buddha Tank by yoyoro modeled by IuliaThere are many messengers, beings – sentinent, celestial, gods & goddesses – that may embody our beliefs or act as symbolic reminder to us of a philosphy of life or to hold onto as we traverse our path. This is what the messengers collection is all about. The Buddha and Lord Ganesha, these are some of the messengers we adore and begin our offerings in this collection with them. Products in The Messengers Collection include hand printed bags, t shirts, yoga pants and pillow covers.
There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting. – Buddha

Ganesha a/k/a Lord Ganesha is known as the Lord of beginnings and the destroyer of obstacles

Lord Ganesha Yoyoro Lord Ganesha is known by many names and is known as the Lord of beginnings and the remover or destroyer of obstacles. But not only has he the ability to remove obstacles, he can too create obstacles and does so when we undertake an action with fear and illusion. Indeed, it is taught in Hindu tradition that he is the one who creates obstacles to remind us of our divinity. Ganesha is a very popular god, many people have statues, necklaces and many other items with Ganesha on them to honor him and be reminded of this. Ganesha is known in almost all forms of Buddhism – except some modern forms (such as “modern” Zen) which have extracted many symbols out of their traditions. He was created by Shiva to bring to a successful conclusion every action. The meaning that he symbolizes inspired us along with our love of Ganesha and art, both old and new, inspired us to resurrect this beautiful historical image of Lord Ganesha and share it with the world so we created an imprint of it.

Buddha, the awakened one, a messenger with a philosophy.

Yoyoro Buddha Buddha, the awakened one, a messenger with a philosophy. As a religion buddism encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices which are largely based on the teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama. Aside from being a religion for some, it is a tradition of thought, a path, a philosophy. We admire Buddha and the meaning that a relic or symbol of him means and from that we were inspired to create wearable prints of Buddha.
